Quick Update

So, the boys are on their countdowns to come home. They have 7 days to maintain several things before they can come home.

Maddox is on day 5 of countdown today and Marcus is on day 2. If they behave, Maddox will come home on Sunday and Marcus will come home on Wednesday.

These are the things they have to do consistantly for 7 days:

In an open crib. Check
Taking all feeds by bottle. Check
Ad-lib eating. Check
Maintaining temperature. Check
Off of nasal canula. Check
No events.....um....I'll get back to you on that one. This is the one that could change the schedule but so far so good.

So that's that. I'm very sad they can not come home together. It's going to be just as hard leaving Marcus there as it was the first time I had to leave them on April 5. Luckily, Marcus will only have to go two whole days without his brother. Steve and I won't be able to be there with him as much as we are now, but the nurses are great and will take good care of him.

That's all for now, hopefully the next time I post my children will be home with mommy and daddy.
