Just Thursday ~ August 19, 2010

Outside my window.. sadly no window, just the one looking out into the hallway at work.  They really need to change the lighting though, it's very dreary.

The time is.. 11:50am
Today I feel.. hopeful.
I am thinking.. that I need to listen to some Pat Benatar radio on Pandora.
At the moment, I am thankful.. that tomorrow is pay day.  I NEED to do some serious grocery shopping.
I am going.. to menu plan for next week in order to stay on track healthy eating wise.  I also need to plan for left-overs so I don't have to think about what to pack for lunch each day.
I am wearing.. heather gray crop pants, a light pink ruffly top, black slingbacks with a silver buckle, and jewelry....lots of jewels.  I love bling :-)
I wish.. I could see into the future.
I am reading.. nothing at the moment....need to fix that real quick!
I am working on.. myself.
I am hoping.. that everything will be ok.
I am hearing.. my coworker chat on the phone and the radio.
Around the house.. it's clean for once.  I moved the kitchen table around so now the kitchen looks much larger.
I bet you didn't know.. that I do not have a college education and I feel guilty for that.  Learning always came easy to me, I could have done great things.  But I hated High School and was money hungry so instead I got a full time job at the age of 17.  I have been working full time ever since (what was I thinking?!?).
One of my favorite.. times of day is the time before the kids and my husband wake up.  The house is quiet, so quiet you can hear a pin drop.  I like to imagine that I'm home all by myself and that I'm free to do whatever I want whenever I want.
My weekend plans include.. date night with my husband Friday to celebrate our anniversary.  Saturday is grocery shopping day and at night I have a client.  Sunday my Fairy Godmother, my Sister, and I are going to the Pat Benatar and REO Speedwagon concert.

Be sure to stop by Abby's place and link up - if you do you will be eligible to win a GREAT prize.

  1. Enjoy your date night - will you post some prelims from your client? I love your photos - I will not become obsessed with a new hobby...I will not become obsessed with a new hobby....

  2. I'm glad you're feeling optimistic! Hopefully you guys have a great date night tonight. Sounds like another fun weekend for you! Adam didn't get a college degree either. He started [got a 3.89 his first year] and 2 weeks into his second year he decided partying was way more fun than going to class..imagine that! He also regrets his decision...luckily so far, he has been able to land some great jobs...it's always in the back of our minds though! Happy Thursday...thanks for linking up!

  3. Yeah for date night and feeling optimistic. Still praying friend.
My school history and the need for a job is very similar to yours. I'm still not sure that I could do it, but I do feel like I missed something.

  4. Date night! I hope that is a fun start to your weekend!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I appreciate you stopping by! I noticed on your side bar that you live in Western New York. I grew up living in Grand Island and Clarence. Maybe not all that far from where you are! : )

Your boys are adorable and your pictures are fantastic!
